A sweet, well-made seasonal alphabet book that weaves its faith gently — God shows up as the giver of summer's gifts rather than as a lesson to be taught, which keeps the tone warm and wonder-filled rather than didactic. Bronson's illustrations are vibrant and the rhymes are easy to read aloud. Families outside a Christian frame will likely find it a mismatch, and there's not much here beyond the seasonal devotional format, but for its intended audience it's a lovely little book.
