Children's β¦ Penny’s Take
First Space Book
Clive Gifford Β· 2019
70/100
π Worth It
A solar system wall poster plus an activity on every spread is a smart package for a child who is just catching the space bug, and Miles Kelly's production quality keeps up with the premise. At 48 pages the book can only skim the surface of a vast subject, but for a five-to-seven-year-old that surface skimming is exactly calibrated to attention spans. A solid gift book rather than a deep reference.
