A cheerful, multi-sensory board book that does exactly what it promises: bright animal pictures, touch-and-feel textures, and lift-the-flap surprises for the youngest readers. There is almost no narrative here by design, so it functions more as a sensory toy than a story. Great for a first gift to a toddler, though it will likely outgrow its novelty within a few months.
