Forces Make Things Move

Bradley's chemistry background shows — the physics here is accurate, the progression from simple pushes to gravity and friction is well-paced, and Kirkus praised it specifically for how it handles the concept of gravitational attraction for young readers. For PreK through grade 3, this is exactly what a science picture book should be: trustworthy, humorous, and incrementally more sophisticated than it first appears. Don't expect depth beyond its 40 pages, but within the Let's-Read-and-Find-Out series this is a strong entry.
