This DK picture-book tie-in is exactly what it says on the cover: a visual companion for kids already watching the Nick Jr. show, packed with animal photos and character profiles. It does that job competently and celebrates Latino culture and bilingualism in a warm way. But if your child isn't already a Diego fan, there's almost no independent reason to pick this over a richer standalone animal book.
