This Redemptorist collection covers a lot of ground — from creation to resurrection — in language genuinely suited to children ages 5-11, and Lula Guzman's full-page illustrations give it real visual warmth. It won't serve every Christian household equally since the framing is explicitly Catholic, but within that tradition it's a well-executed, award-recognized resource. For faith formation in Catholic families and religious-education classrooms, it's a solid pick.
