Goodnight Rebekah and the Moon, It's Almost Bedtime

Melissa Ryan · 2016
77/100
👍 Worth It

Like all books in Melissa Ryan's personalized series, this one wraps a toddler in a soothing bedtime story built around their own name — here, Rebekah. The biblical resonance of the name may add a small extra layer of warmth for faith-oriented families, but the book itself is structurally identical to every other name variant in the series. Hearing your name read aloud is genuinely appealing for very young children, and the moon-and-bedtime theme is calm and appropriate. The caveat is the same as with the rest of the series: minimal narrative content, self-published without independent editorial vetting, and essentially interchangeable with dozens of other name editions. A sweet gift item for a toddler named Rebekah; not a book with staying power beyond that.
