Petra Brown's watercolor bunny illustrations are genuinely charming, and the personalization pages that let grandma write her own letter make this a sweet keepsake for a newborn's first shelf. But Kirkus was right to call it greeting-card sentiment — there's not much here beyond warm affirmation, which makes it a better gift object than a book you return to. Perfect for its occasion, limited beyond it.
