Children's ✦ Penny’s Take
Hans Christian Andersen's Thumbelina
Justine Korman · 1994
52/100
👎 Skip It
A 62-page movie tie-in from 1994 that softens Andersen's original into a happier Don Bluth adventure — it's harmless and the color film photos are a nice touch for young fans. But movie novelizations are by nature derivative, this one has almost no critical record, and its appeal is almost entirely limited to nostalgic fans of a film with a mixed critical legacy.
