Head Over Heels

Holly Smale · 2016
68/100
👎 Skip It

Holly Smale's Harriet Manners is a genuinely fun protagonist — socially anxious, fact-obsessed, and funny in a way that resonates with teen readers who feel like outsiders. This fifth installment is a solid entry for series fans who have followed Harriet through the previous four books, and the India setting adds some fresh energy. But new readers will be lost without the backstory, and the series formula is showing some wear at book five.
