As a classroom resource mapped to the UK National Curriculum, this does exactly what it promises: ready-to-use lesson plans, differentiated activities, and solid historical coverage for ages 7-9. But it's a teacher's tool first and a reader's book a distant second, and at over 20 years old the pedagogy and some historical framing may feel dated. Outside the UK primary classroom context, the value proposition is narrow.
