Horrible Holidays

π Skip It
Audrey Wood keeps the holiday mischief light and the vocabulary manageable for early readers, and the cousin-rivalry premise will land with kids who've survived a difficult family gathering. But this is a collection of loosely connected comic vignettes more than a real story, and it sits well below Wood's best work. Fine as a seasonal read-aloud filler, but not something most readers need to seek out.
