Children's ✦ Penny’s Take
Jack and the Beanstalk
Renee Biermann · 2021
74/100
👍 Worth It
Biermann's graphic novel adaptation does exactly what it needs to — it takes a story every child knows and puts it in a format that makes beginning readers feel capable and excited to turn the page. At 32 pages it's genuinely brief, but for ages 5–8 that's a feature, not a flaw. A reliable classroom or library pick for early readers.
