Gonzo accidentally stumbling through a manners lesson is exactly the kind of premise that works for four-year-olds, and the dream-sequence structure gives the moral moment without being preachy. At 24 pages it is very thin, and the early-1990s illustration style has aged, but as a library or classroom pick for very young readers it does its small job cleanly.
