Children's β¦ Penny’s Take
John Adams

Dubois's photo-illustrated series gave elementary classrooms a reliable, curriculum-aligned entry point to the founding presidents, and John Adams is handled competently here. The format is very short and the photography-plus-accessible-prose approach serves its purpose without distinction. For its narrow curricular niche this is fine; there is simply not much here beyond that.
