A clean, accessible 32-page biography from a reputable educational publisher that does exactly what it sets out to do: introduce young readers to DiCaprio's career and environmental work in simple terms. The problem is that 32 pages doesn't leave room to go deep on either his acting or his activism, and a 2017 publication is starting to feel dated. Perfectly serviceable for a classroom library shelf, but there's nothing here that will stick with a child the way a richer biography might.
