Children's β¦ Penny’s Take

Eve Tharlet's warm, richly textured European illustrations are the real draw here, and the best-friend mischief theme is reliably beloved by young children. But the book is out of print, English-language critical coverage is nearly nonexistent, and the episodic plot does not build to much. Worth hunting down if you find it, but hard to recommend as a deliberate purchase.
