The underlying story is one of the most durable in children's literature, and its moral about disobedience and danger still resonates. This particular 2009 Classics Illustrated Junior edition, though, is a niche comics-format retelling with very little critical coverage to go on — the quality of that specific adaptation is genuinely unclear. If you want Little Red Riding Hood, a better-documented illustrated edition is probably the safer pick.
