A colorful trip around the world showing children how love shows up across cultures — the Lonely Planet Kids brand keeps the production quality high and the global scope is genuinely appealing. At 32 pages it can only skim the surface, and the catalog naming confusion between Love Picture Book Project and Love Around the World adds unnecessary friction. A sweet book, but there are richer multicultural picture books out there.
