Children's β¦ Penny’s Take
Marley Goes to School
John Grogan Β· 2009
70/100
π Worth It
Marley charging into the cafeteria and liberating the science room's mice is exactly the kind of silliness that makes little kids demand a second read-aloud. The plot is essentially one long comic set piece, so don't expect emotional depth, but Richard Cowdrey's lively illustrations carry the energy beautifully. A fun, low-stakes choice for Marley fans heading into their first school year.
