The sequin cover will catch a toddler's eye and the sibling-adjustment theme is genuinely useful, but the royal tie-in is purely commercial and the story is thin even by picture-book standards. There are many better books about welcoming a new sibling that do the emotional work with more depth. The novelty element wears off fast.
