This gentle 26-page picture book is entirely safe and sweet, and its short sentences do serve very early readers and bedtime use. But with almost no story arc, self-published production, and negligible critical footprint, there's not much here to distinguish it from dozens of similar early-literacy titles a library or bookstore already carries.
