Monsters, Mind Your Manners!

Elizabeth Spurr · 2012
72/100
👍 Worth It

Elizabeth Spurr's reverse-psychology approach — letting monsters model exactly what not to do — is a smarter etiquette concept than the standard lecture-in-disguise, and a major children's publisher plus library adoption through OverDrive back up the execution. The rhyming text from an experienced author makes it a natural read-aloud. Some of the gross-humor gags won't suit every family's taste, but for most preschool and early-elementary readers this is a fun, genuinely functional manners book.
