The message here — that every family looks a little different but all deserve care — is warm-hearted, and the illustrations are lovely. One reader found the tone a bit too sugary, and since I can't confirm exactly which family types are pictured inside, I'd want a parent or teacher to flip through it first before handing it to a faith-based classroom.
