This is a smart, generous picture book — it teaches counting to ten, visits ten countries, uses rollicking rhyme that young children will want repeated, and wraps all of it in Christopher Corr's vivid folk-art illustrations that are visually unlike anything else on the picture-book shelf. School Library Journal called it fresh and lively, and parents confirm the rhyming text and globally diverse imagery are a winning combination.
