National Geographic My First Pocket Guide Dinosaurs

National Geographic Society · 1996
63/100
👎 Skip It

For 1996 this was a genuinely clever product — the only field-guide format aimed at young dinosaur fans in trade channels, with John Sibbick's detailed artwork elevating it above typical picture books. The problem is paleontology has moved dramatically since then: feathered dinosaurs, revised family trees, and updated locomotion research make parts of this outdated. A fine thrift-store find or gift from a grandparent's shelf, but not worth buying new.
