This is a genuinely lovely nature guide — Kew-trained expertise paired with Danielle Kroll's beautiful illustrations across eight habitats and four seasons is a winning combination, and multiple reviewers called it fantastic. The one honest caveat is that the content is deeply UK-specific, so North American readers will find some species and seasonal timing that simply don't apply to them. If you're in the UK, it's an easy yes; elsewhere it's still charming but less practically useful.
