The five-senses structure for experiencing nature is pedagogically sound, the environmental stewardship message is age-appropriate without being preachy, and the charitable giving component is a nice touch. As a debut picture book from an independently published author, though, it has no professional review coverage and the critical unknown here is the illustration quality, which makes or breaks any picture book. Hard to recommend without seeing it.
