Children's ✦ Penny’s Take
One Hundred and One Ways to a Perfect Family

The self-acceptance-over-perfectionism message is sound and the premise is relatable for the 7–9 set, but this is an out-of-print 1990 small-press chapter book with minimal independent critical coverage and a predictable arc. There is nothing wrong with it, but there is also nothing to distinguish it from dozens of comparable middle-grade titles, many of which are still in print and more readily available.
