π Worth It
Kel's second outing in the Protector of the Small series is thoughtful and genuinely empowering, and it handles a subplot about harassment with real care as she teaches her maid self-defense. Some readers feel it moves fast, cramming a couple of training years into just over 200 pages, but the character work carries it. A strong, meaningful entry in a beloved fantasy series.
