As a classroom supplement this book had its moment in the late 1990s, and the hands-on craft approach to history still has pedagogical merit. But a 1999 teacher-resource book on U.S. history framing hasn't been updated, and current educational standards have shifted enough that some content framing may need teacher review before use. Without independent critical evidence and with no student narrative appeal, it's a niche find for homeschool collectors rather than a broad recommendation.
