Thirteen original Hundred Acre Wood stories in one generous hardcover — the familiar characters do most of the work, and the themes of friendship and kindness are handled with appropriate gentleness throughout. These are Disney-commissioned originals rather than Milne, so the prose doesn't have the original's magic, but as a warm, safe, substantial anthology for young Pooh fans it delivers real value.
