Gaia Moore's fearlessness is a genuinely interesting premise, and the fast-paced action kept the Fearless series alive through 36 volumes for a reason. But murder attempts, drug dealers, and mature teen content mean this is one for high-schoolers only, and the formulaic plotting and series dependency blunt its appeal for new readers. Fine for the target audience who already loves the series; a harder sell otherwise.
