Say Hello to Baby

Prasadam-Halls tackles the new-sibling transition with warmth and Teckentrup's illustrations are reliably lovely, but the informational approach makes this feel more like a parenting resource than a story a child will ask to hear again. It fills a real need for families welcoming a baby, but the lack of strong narrative arc limits its staying power as a read-aloud. A fine gift for the right moment, but not a standout in its category.
