Figueroa and Harding's edited collection does genuine work in expanding philosophy of science beyond its dominant Western frameworks, and case studies ranging from Nahua indigenous philosophy to the Marshall Islands nuclear experience give it real breadth. But the essay quality is uneven, some entries have aged since 2003, and the theoretical jargon makes it genuinely inaccessible without graduate-level background. Worth recommending to the right specialist; not a general pick.
