Children's ✦ Penny’s Take
Science in Action

A perfectly serviceable classroom resource for its era, covering the QCA Scheme of Work with copiable activities and lesson plans — exactly what a Key Stage 1 teacher needed in 2004. Two decades on, the UK curriculum has moved on, the activities have not been updated, and the audience outside England and Wales was always limited. A working teacher in England today would do better with current DfE-aligned materials.
