Children's ✦ Penny’s Take
Science Year, 1998
World Book, Incorporated · 1997
48/100
👎 Skip It
As a curriculum-aligned science supplement for 1997, this was exactly what it needed to be — reliable, broad, and editorially vetted. But nearly 30 years on, the science content is a historical artifact rather than a living reference, and without the original World Book encyclopedia set it was designed to extend, it has almost no standalone value. Libraries may keep it for historical interest, but there's no reason to seek it out today.
