Seasons and Colors

A sweet idea — following Ericka through the seasons to discover how nature's colors shift — and the author's science background gives the natural observation details a little more depth than the average preschool concept book. But small-press production limits how well this competes visually against major trade titles in the same space, and the story itself is functional rather than memorable. A fine pick if you come across it, but not worth hunting down.
