Secrets of the GS Ball

If your child is deep into Johto-era Pokémon, this will land perfectly — the familiar characters and short chapters make it a comfortable early chapter book experience. But the GS Ball mystery that the title promises is not resolved here, the literary value is minimal beyond franchise appeal, and there is no independent critical coverage to suggest it rises above a competent licensed tie-in. Pokémon fans will enjoy it; everyone else should look elsewhere.
