The skateboarding premise is relatable and energetic, and the replay value is real. Entirely family-safe with no objectionable content. The honest caveat is that branching-format books are thin on character development by design, and this specific volume has no dedicated critical coverage to draw on — it is one of the later entries in the series rather than a standout title. For kids who love sports and interactive fiction, though, it does exactly what it sets out to do.
