Alice Alfonsi's 24-page picture book adapts web content from StarWarsKids.com into a full-color family history of the Skywalkers, running from Anakin's childhood through Luke's New Jedi Order. Published in 2002 to accompany Episode II, it is illustrated with photography from across the original and prequel films, which gives young readers a visual bridge between the saga's different eras. As an accessible entry point to the family tree for children just discovering Star Wars, it does the job neatly. The honest caveat is that at 24 pages this is a promotional tie-in, not a story — and it predates the sequel trilogy entirely, so the Skywalker arc as it now exists is not reflected. Young fans and collectors will enjoy it; anyone expecting narrative depth will want to look elsewhere.
