Adam Woog's 1999 Lucent Books biography is a competent library entry that would have served young Spielberg fans well at the time, but it stops before 2000 and misses the full arc of one of cinema's most important careers. A younger reader today would be better served by a more current biography that includes Lincoln, Ready Player One, and the rest.
