Children's β¦ Penny’s Take
T*A*C*K Against Time
Nancy K. Robinson Β· 1983
65/100
π Skip It
The solve-it-yourself format is a genuinely engaging way to get reluctant readers actively thinking, and the T*A*C*K team's ensemble cast covers the bases well for its era. This is a perfectly safe, wholesome mystery for elementary readers who have already worked through Encyclopedia Brown. The dated 1980s references and lack of standalone depth mean newer participatory mystery series have largely superseded it, but it is a fine option if you find a copy.
