A harmless TV tie-in for Alex Mack fans that works as a light companion piece to the show, not as a book worth seeking out on its own. The plot is routine, the payoff is minimal, and without nostalgia for the series there is almost nothing here. Fine shelf filler for 1990s fans, but not a worthy standalone read.
