A gentle, cheerful picture book for toddlers that weaves counting and animal identification into a simple garden adventure — exactly what it sets out to be. The SCBWI listing suggests it met debut professional standards, and the garden-animals setting is sweet. It is held back by small-press invisibility and very limited critical documentation, which makes it hard to confidently recommend over more widely reviewed titles in the same age range.
