Children's ✦ Penny’s Take
Ten Minutes to Bed

👍 Worth It
Three and a half million copies in twenty-six languages is not hype — it is parents voting with their wallets night after night, and Chris Chatterton's illustrations are genuinely lovely. The ten-minute countdown gives bedtime a friendly shape kids can understand, and the gentle fantasy companions (dragons, unicorns, dinosaurs) are warm rather than scary. Some rhymes feel a little forced and the jigsaw feature is a minor oddity, but as a bedtime ritual tool this series has earned its place on the shelf.
