Created by Thurso-based Colin Sinclair and brought to life through Mandy Sinclair's illustrations, the book is a warm celebration of John O'Groats and the surrounding Highland landscape. Young readers who love local legends and outdoor adventure will find it charming, and the illustrations appear to be a genuine highlight. The honest caveat is that distribution is very limited outside Scotland, and minimal critical coverage makes it hard to assess how well the storytelling holds up beyond its home region. A lovely find if you are in Caithness; harder to track down anywhere else.
