Kate Lee's rhyming text is fun to read aloud, and the real draw here is the touch-and-feel format — fabric elements and gold tassels on every page give toddlers something to engage with beyond the words. For the two-to-five set, that tactile dimension is genuinely distinctive. The honest caveat is blunt: at 14 pages, there is almost no narrative — this is a sensory novelty first and a story second.
