Children's β¦ Penny’s Take
The Berenstain Bears and the Dinosaurs
Stan Berenstain Β· 1984
70/100
π Worth It
This is one of the Bears' best because it captures something genuinely true about childhood: the way an obsession can take over your whole personality, and how a shared experience can channel that passion into something connective. The museum visit is a lovely payoff. The dinosaur science is basic (this is a 1984 picture book, not a field guide), but the emotional and social lesson lands cleanly for its age group.
