Jerry Pallotta's alphabet series has earned its reputation, and The Butterfly Alphabet Book is a strong entry — Mark Astrella's scientific illustrations are detailed and beautiful, and the global species range introduces genuine biodiversity to young readers at an age when curiosity is everything.
